Description

Mickey's Christmas Carol Scrooge McDuck as Ebenezer Scrooge Production Cel with Cel Line Art Background (Walt Disney, 1983). "Does that mean... that Tiny Tim... but where will they go?" The Ghost of Christmas Present (Willie the Giant) has dropped Ebenezer at the Cratchit house window and revealed to him that if things don't change, young Tim will die. Chilling stuff for a Disney cartoon! This is the original hand-painted 16 field production cel seen at about the 19:34 timestamp. Scrooge's full figure image size is approximately 5" x 7.5". The cel was laminated at the studio in the 1990s in an effort to preserve the painted side; most laminated cels from this period we see have "haloing" where the lamination has begun to separate, but this cel looks great; only a small bit of discoloration along the edge of Scrooge's left arm and a minor separation in Scrooge's fingers are the only concerns. The cel includes a Disney seal in the lower right and is matted with an opening of 14.25" x 10.75" and is framed with glass for an overall size of 22.5" x 19.5". A Disney Certificate of Authenticity is on the back. All frames are sold as-is. Photos are not representative of actual frame condition. The cel is in Very Good condition with minor wear and slight lamination separation.
