Description
Mickey's Christmas Carol Jiminy Cricket Production Cel with Line Test Background (Walt Disney, 1983). "Listen, Scrooge, if men were measured by kindness, you'd be no bigger than a speck of dust." Jiminy Cricket, as the Ghost of Christmas Past, isn't happy to hear Scrooge's remarks about his height in this feisty hand-painted production cel. Crafted for the holiday Disney featurette Mickey's Christmas Carol, we have in this lot a fantastic image of Jiminy Cricket in his classic outfit, including hat and umbrella! The 16-field cel has Jiminy rendered at approximately 3.5"x 3.25" in size. Jiminy is presented on a xeroxed line test background, with the overall appearance of this piece resembling the featurette frame near the 12:27 timestamp. The cel is laminated and bears a Walt Disney Company stamp in the bottom right corner. Presented in a mat display sized at 20" x 16" with a viewing window of 14" x 10"with a CoA affixed to the back. The setup has minor studio handling wear, edge wear, and it has a few air pockets between the laminate and paint. In Fair to Good condition.More information about Walt Disney Studios - Other Artist.
