Description

Merlin the Magic Mouse Production/Color Model Cel (Warner Brothers, c. 1967-69). "Atascadero Escondido!" When Warner Bros.-Seven Arts Animation was set up to produce the final Looney Tunes/Merrie Melodies shorts in 1967 (after farming out production to Format Pictures and DePatie-Freleng, beginning in 1964), a couple of new characters were introduced by director Alex Lovy, formerly of Hanna-Barbera. Merlin would appear in five shorts in all, with his sidekick Second Banana. This is an original hand-inked, hand-painted production or color model cel of Merlin, standing about 5" tall. The cel is matted with an opening of 4.5" x 6.5and an overall mat size of 20.5" x 16.5". Cel condition is Fine.
