Description
MD Geist II: Death Force MD Geist Production Cel Signed by Koichi Ohata with Master Background and Animation Drawing (Zero-G Room, 1996). From the climactic fight between Geist and Krauser at the end of the thrilling anime movie MD Geist II: Death Force, featuring a monochromatic image of Geist in his powered suit signed by the film's director Koichi Ohata, featured on a Master background and the matching animation drawing. Seen at the 38:43 timestamp, this two-layer 12-field production cel has Geist in his elaborate suit measuring 7.75" x 8", featuring the signature in golden ink on the right side of the cel. The Master background is rendered in gouache on background board measuring 14.25" x 10", and it shows up at the 37:37 mark of the movie. Geist is featured in graphite with colored pencil shading and details on the drawing numbered B9 in the top right corner. The cel has their tapes taped together by the top and side edges and shows some fading on the linework. The Master background has pinholes on the corners and light surface scudding near the right border. In Very Good condition with light handling wear from production.Auction Info
