Lady and the Tramp Production Cel and Original Pan Production Background (Walt Disney, 1955). "Breakfast... let's see... Ah Tony's, that's it! Haven't been there in a week" says Tramp as he goes for his morning stroll. We first see Tramp wake up by the railroad tracks in a log. He sips some water from a puddle, stands under a drip to clean-up, and then heads out to find breakfast. This is the very first time we see Tony's Restaurant in the film. Here is the panoramic hand-painted production background of the front of Tony's Restaurant. The backgrounds on Lady and the Tramp were painted by Claude Coats, Dick Anthony, Ralph Hulett, Al Dempster, Thelma Witmer, Jim Trout, Ray Huffine, Brice Mack, and Eyvind Earle. What an array of talent! Great full-figure hand-inked, hand-painted, and trimmed to image production cels of both Lady and Tramp applied to this magnificent background, which by itself is an impressive painting. Frame is sold as-is. Artwork condition is Very Good. From the Forbes Collection.
