Description

Lady and the Tramp Lady and Tramp Production Cel (Walt Disney, 1955). Lady and the Tramp premiered on 7/16/55, only weeks away from the opening of Disneyland. When Disneyland opened, there was a store called "The Art Corner." Original hand-inked, hand-painted production cels were sold there for $1.25. These "Souvenir" cels were in a simple mat and had a gold sticker on the reverse that read "This is an ORIGINAL hand-painted celluloid drawing actually used in a Walt Disney Production. Released exclusively by Art Corner at Disneyland, Anaheim, California." This is a rare and outstanding hand-inked, hand-painted trimmed production cel of both Lady and Tramp. The cel is in its original Disneyland mat and has the Art Corner gold sticker on the back. Mat measures 9.5" x 8". Excellent full-figure images are 2" and 3". Rare to have both characters together! Very Good condition.
