Description

Lady and the Tramp "He's a Tramp" Peg Production Cel (Walt Disney, 1955). "He gives you plenty of trouble, I guess he's just a no 'count pup, but I wish he were double." In the dark of the dog pound, Peg and the Pound Dogs put on a show for Lady. The Pekingese is in the middle of her performance of "He's a Tramp" in this enormous, detailed hand-painted and hand-inked production cel from Lady and the Tramp. The song was composed by Sonny Burke and Peg's voice actress Peggy Lee and the character was largely animated by Eric Larson, who brought some of her best moments to life with a keen sense of rhythm. She doesn't appear for very long in the film but makes an undeniable impact as she protects Lady and tells her about how many hearts Tramp had broken before her. At approximately 8'' x 5.5'', the cel was made for the scene at about 59:15 during "He's a Tramp" and is displayed in a 13.25'' x 10.75'' mat window on a print background and presented in a 22'' x 16'' x 2'' glass-fronted frame. All frames are sold as-is. Photos are not representative of actual frame condition. Very Good condition with light handling and paint wear.
