Jonny Quest Title Cel Title Cel Setup (Hanna-Barbera, 1964). "Jonny Quest will return after these important messages!" This show was created and designed by comic book artist Doug Wildey and was reportedly based on the old radio serial, Jack Armstrong, the All-American Boy. The show featured Johnny Quest; his father, Doctor Benton Quest; special agent Race Bannon; Jonny's best friend and adoptive brother Hadji, and Jonny's dog Bandit. It premiered on 9/18/64 and was originally a Prime Time series airing on Friday nights. This is one of the rarest Jonny Quest pieces we have ever offered. It's an original hand-painted 12 field Ending Title/Bumper 3-cel setup. The incredible hand-inked hand-painted 3-cel setup features a 7.25" x 6.5" image of Jonny complete with signal ring over a hand-painted show title. Every fan will remember this iconic image as Jonny's ring gives off a bright flash just before cutting to commercial. The piece is framed under Plexiglas with a mat opening of 10" x 8" in an 18.5" x 16.5" frame. Condition is Very Good. Frame is sold as-is.
