Description
Jonny Quest Opening Sequence Production Cel and Master Background Setup (Hanna-Barbera, 1964). Original hand-painted production cel of the flying platforms with the villain frogmen. This great cel is on a trimmed, hand-painted Master production background. These platform men can be seen in the opening title sequence. This setup is from the "Fraudulent Volcano" episode that ran on New Year's Eve 12/31/64. It starred the return of Doctor Zin. The setup is in a Hanna-Barbera Studio mat, with an opening of 9" x 7"; it has tape and handling wear. More of the trimmed background is under the mat. Very rare to find Master setups from this show. Trimmed cels of Jonny Quest's head and a rear shot of bad guy Cassim (from the episode "Riddle of the Gold") are included in the lot. Good condition.Auction Info
