Johnny Bravo Production Cel with Master Background (Hanna-Barbera, c. 1997-2004). "Whoa, Mama!" The narcissistic muscle-bound Johnny Bravo strikes a characteristic pose in this fantastic hand-painted original production cel from the hilarious animated series Johnny Bravo. Well known for its adult humor and pop culture references, Johnny Bravo was a smash hit series in the late 90s. The series even helped launch the careers of several major animators, including Seth MacFarlane and Butch Hartman. This excellent cel is presented on a rare Master background from the series, hand-painted in gouache on background board numbered J.B. 77. The cel is numbered J4, and it bears a Warner Brothers seal dated 2001. In addition, this 12 field setup is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity. The piece shows minor handling and edge wear, and the condition is Very Good.Auction Info
