It's a Short Summer, Charlie Brown Snoopy and Lucy Production Cel (Bill Melendez, 1969). "I think we have him ready. Before we over-train him, I think it's time we issue the challenge!" This is a rare hand-inked, hand-painted production cel of Snoopy taking on Lucy in the Summer Camp Arm-Wrestling championship. He is disguised as a boy camper, wearing a face mask (Peppermint Patty recognizes him as the boy's camp shortstop, "the only athlete on the team!"). You can see this image at around the 24:17 mark into the special. This was the sixth Charlie Brown TV special. It was on CBS and premiered on 9/27/69. Hand-inked Charlie Brown cels from the 1960s are considered very rare. Great images, with sizes of 2" and 3". The cel is on a print background for presentation purposes. Fine condition.
