I Want A Dog for Christmas, Charlie Brown! Snoopy and Sally Production Cel (Bill Melendez, 2003). "I wasn't made for winter!" declares Charlie Brown's little sister Sally! When Charlie Brown asks her where's she's going, she says Christmas shopping and climbs aboard Ace Airlines with Snoopy as her pilot. She asks for food and he gives her his dog bowl, she asks what type of equipment he has for flying over water... and he dons a beach pail and snorkel. This great scene is at about 27:44 into the cartoon. This is a great hand-painted production cel from the scene, featuring both Sally and Snoopy as the great World War I Flying Ace on his doghouse/plane. The cel is on a print background for presentation purposes. It has a studio seal and is signed by director, producer, and long-time studio chief Bill Melendez (1916-2008). A great 6" image of the plane and characters. As a bonus, the matching animation drawings of both Sally and Snoopy are included, and both are signed by Melendez. In Fine condition.
