Description
Hunter x Hunter Hisoka Morow Production Cel Setup and Layout Drawing (Nippon Animation, c. 1999-2001). Sometimes excited about a fight, sometimes planning some intricate plot for his own gain, Hisoka's smile is always a mystery, and in this lot we have a great picture of his iconic puzzling expression. Measuring 8" on the two 12 field size hand-painted production cels that make this setup, Hisoka displays the colors that were characteristic of him during the Hunter's Exam arc. The matching layout drawing included in this lot has the enigmatic character rendered in graphite with blue pencil on 12 field size animation paper. The setup and the drawing show light handling wear from production use, with the drawing having some paint stuck from the production cel.
