Hunter x Hunter Gon Freecss Production Cel and Animation Drawing (Nippon Animation, c. 1999-2001). The spirited Gon from Hunter x Hunter arrives on the scene with this dynamic original production cel and matching animation drawing of the iconic protagonist. Created by the manga artist Yoshihiro Togashi, who previously saw great success with his manga series YuYu Hakusho (1990), Hunter x Hunter has gained popularity due to its rich world-building and intricate power system, all paired with a fascinating cast of characters and intriguing storylines. Looking a little rough but battle ready, Gon measures a large and centered 7.25" x 7.75" on the hand-painted 12 field cel. Accompanying the cel is its matching animation drawing rendered in graphite and colored pencil on 12 field animation paper. Both the cel and the drawing bear a matching production code in the top right. Please note that the drawing has adhered to the back of the cel. With typical studio handling and edge wear including the noted adhesion and minor linework fading with areas of professional restoration on the cel, overall this energetic pair is in Very Good condition.
