Description
Hunter x Hunter Gon Episode #1 Freecss Production Cel A7, Matching Douga (Nippon Animation, 1999). Here is an excellent hand-painted production cel featuring Gon holding tight to his fishing rod as he tries to reel in the Master of the Swamp, a gigantic fish that inhabits the swamps of Whale Island. This image can be seen at the 16:23 mark of the first episode of the 1999 anime adaptation of Yoshihiro Togashi's famous manga Hunter x Hunter. The cel, numbered A7 in the top right corner, measures 10.5" x 9". It is accompanied by its matching douga done in graphite and color pencils. The cel and the douga are adhering by the back.
