Huckleberry Hound Show Pixie and Dixie and Mr. Jinx Production Title Cel Setup with Key Master Background (Hanna-Barbera, 1959). "I hates those meeces to pieces!" says Jinx the Cat about those loveable mice, Pixie and Dixie. This show was part of the original 1958 Huckleberry Hound Show. This is a rare 12 field hand-inked, hand-painted Opening Title cel setup for the "Rapid Robot" episode. This is where Jinx gets a robot cat to go after Pixie and Dixie, and things naturally go amiss. It was the fourth episode in Season 4, which first aired on 7/19/59. The historic four-cel setup is on its Key Master hand-painted production background. Joe Barbera has written OK on bottom left border. The original Main Title Camera Sheet is included. It showcases animation done by Carol Vinci, layout by Dick Bickenbach, and story by Dan Gordon and Warren Foster. It also lists "Produced and Directed by Joseph Barbera and William Hanna" (names reversed!). The setup measures 10" x 12", with images at 4". H-B Opening Title cels are considered very rare. Fine condition.
