How to Ride a Horse Goofy Interstitial Production Cel (Walt Disney, 1955). Goofy first appeared in this short as a segment within The Reluctant Dragon feature film, on 6/20/412. This Jack Kinney-directed short was then theatrically released on its own on 2/24/50. This is a great 12 field hand-inked, hand-painted production cel of Goofy on his horse, Percy from the Disneyland television episode titled "The Goofy Success Story" which premiered on 12/7/55. It was co-directed by Jack Kinney and Woolie Reitherman. This great cel is from this television project, in an interstitial piece linking the original animation to the show; segments of the original cartoon were shown within this episode. Great full-figure images, measuring 7" x 7". The colors are amazing! The cel is noted in ink as A-42 in the right corner. Condition is Very Good.
