Description
Heidi's Song Head Ratte Animation Cel and Key Master Background (Hanna-Barbera, 1983). Orphan Heidi lives with her grandpa in the Swiss Alps bringing joy to all there. However, her aunt takes her to the city to live as a servant girl to a cold, rich, very strict family. Here is a fantastic production cel of Head Ratte, voiced by Sammy Davis Jr. The hand-painted 12 field cel is paired with its original hand-painted Key Master background. The background was painted by Paul Julian (1914 - 1995). Mr. Julian was the Art Director for Heidi's Song and was considered one of the finest background artists at Warner Brothers where he began his career. A prodigy as an arts student, Mr. Julian graduated from the prestigious Chouinard Art Institute. The background was rendered in gouache on background board of 14.75" x 10". Mild production handling.
