An image that should be instantly recognizable to any fan of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, presented is a spectacular hand-painted original production cel featuring the titular hero from the iconic opening title sequence. He-Man and the Masters of the Universe marks a significant time in the history of syndicated cartoons. It paved the way for more toy-based series, changing the landscape of animated television in the 1980s. This emblematic piece captures a picture-perfect image of He-Man marveling at the power of his sword, a must-have for anyone who grew up with the series. The 12 field cel is displayed on an original Master production background from the series, rendered in gouache on board. The setup bears an official Filmation seal. In addition, the piece is joined by a Certificate of Authenticity. The setup is matted with a window size of 11.5" x 8" and an overall mat size of 18" x 14".
