Description
Golden Boy "Computer Studies" Kintaro and Programmers 27.75" x 9" Pan-Sized Production Cel and Animation Drawing Group of 3 (A.P.P.P., 1995). "I love programming!" Says the lecherous protagonist of Golden Boy as he chases down the programmers of T.N. Software in this completely phenomenal hand-painted pan-sized production cel from the first episode of the series, Golden Boy. This incident starts at the 11:10 timestamp, as Kintaro, inexperienced with software programming language, mistakes C-based programming for arriving at third base. Showing the characters running with hilarious expressions, this cel shows the group of fleeing female programmers measuring 12.75" x 6.5", with Kintaro measuring 9" x 5.75" on the 27.75" x 9" cel. The lot comes with the three matching animation drawings for the shot, rendering the characters in graphite and color pencils on pan-sized animation sheets. The cel is displayed on a printed background for presentation purposes, and has its layers taped together and to the background with archival artist tape. The animation sheets have additional sections taped to them to complete the pan size. Small paint spots can be seen on the drawing showing two of the programmers. Light fading is visible in the linework. The layers are shown differently than in the final shot for presentation purposes. Overall, the lot is in Very Good condition, presenting minor handling and edge wear from production.More information about A.P.P.P..
