Description
Godzilla Production Cel (Hanna-Barbera, c. 1978-79). The King of Monsters is featured trapped in a gigantic burning spider web in this fantastic lot from the Hanna-Barbera animated series Godzilla. The cartoon version of the iconic Toho character debuted on TV on September 9, 1978, and featured 13 thrilling episodes following Captain Carl Majors and his team in different adventures, aided by Godzilla, who is called by the group of scientists by a transmitter, or called by his nephew, the adorable Godzooky. Godzilla is featured in full-figure, measuring 5.75" x 7.25", showcased on the hand-inked blazing spider web, all presented on a 15.5" x 13.25" mat with an opening of 11.75" x 9.75" . The cel shows faint surface scratches that don't affect the art, with minor handling wear from production. The mat is sold as-is. In Very Good condition.Auction Info
