Description

George of the Jungle Lion from Opening and George Production Cels with Master Production Backgrounds Display (Jay Ward, 1967). The prancing lion seen at the start of the opening credits is one of two original hand-inked and hand-painted production cels placed on original hand-painted backgrounds from the original 1967 animated series. The lion is seen in this pose right at the start, at about the 0:01 timestamp. It has an approximate image size of 6.5" x 3.75". George is in a classic "look at me" pose that measures 3.5" x 5.125". The cels and backgrounds are in a double mat with aperture sizes of 11" x 8.5". The matted cels are in a frame with glass measuring 33" x 17.5". The frame has some scuffing with cracking and small pieces missing from the black plastic covering. All frames are sold as-is. Photos are not representative of actual frame condition. The setups are in Very Good to Fine condition with light handling.
