George of the Jungle George and Tookie-Tookie Bird Production Cel (Jay Ward, 1967). "Aww Aww, Eee Eee, Tookie Tookie!" This is an extremely rare hand-inked and hand-painted 12 field production cel of George and his Tookie-Tookie Bird. Jay Ward Studios production cels were painted in Mexico and then discarded, so very few original cels survived. George of the Jungle was Jay Ward's (1920 - 1989) last cartoon series but the franchise later became a live action feature film for Walt Disney Studios starring Brendan Fraser. The 5" x 5" image of the two characters is presented over a print of a background from the show and is matted and framed under glass with a mat opening of 8" x 10" in a 15" x 19" frame. Condition is Fine. Frame is sold as-is.
