Gargoyles Hudson and Bronx Production Cel Setup with Key Master Production Background and Drawing (Walt Disney, 1994). The Disney TV series Gargoyles premiered on 10/24/94 with a 5-part episode called "Awakening." To celebrate the higher than average production values for this TV series, 42 lots of original artwork from this show were sold in New York City on June 10, 1995. This was lot 576 in that auction, an oversized hand-painted production cel of Hudson petting Bronx. The production cel setup is on its Key Master hand-painted production background, painted in gouache on lightweight background board measuring 15" x 20". Images on the cel are 9" and 10". This Key Master setup is matted with an opening size of 12" x 17". A Disney seal is on the cel, and a Disney COA is included. As a bonus, the original studio layout drawing for this scene is also included. Fine condition.
