Description

Fantastic Four Black Panther Production Cel with Painted Background and Animation Drawing (Marvel Studios, 1995).
The Black Panther was the first superhero of African descent from a major American comic book publisher. He's the most recent to make the jump to a major motion picture, but he appeared on television years before. Here's an original hand-painted production cel of the hero known as T'Challa, King of Wakanda, from the Fantastic Four Season Two episode, "Prey of the Black Panther." The impressive image size is 10.5" x 6.75"; the cel is placed over a production background from an unknown cartoon that works well with the cel. Included is the matching animation drawing, in graphite with red and blue pencil highlights; both the cel and drawing have been hand-signed by the series' Supervising Producer, Tom Tataranowicz. Condition is Very Good, with tape along the bottom edge of the cel, and minor handling wear.
