Fantastic Four Black Panther Production Cel with Painted Background and Animation Drawing (Marvel Studios, 1995).
Everybody's talking about Marvel's newest movie hero Black Panther, and with good reason -- this historic character was the first superhero of African descent in mainstream American comics. Here's an original hand-painted production cel from his first on-screen appearance, the Season Two episode of Fantastic Four, "Prey of the Black Panther." And what an image -- our hero, also known as T'Challa, King of Wakanda, is leaping into action with claws fully extended! Wow! The image measures approximately 9.5" x 5.25", placed on an original hand-painted production background from an unknown episode. The original animation drawing, in graphite with red and a tiny bit of blue pencil highlights, is also included; both it and the cel have been hand-signed by Supervising Producer Tom Tataranowicz. Very Good overall condition, with tape along the bottom edge of the cel and minor handling wear.
