Fantasia "The Pastoral Symphony" Baby Pegasus Production Cel Courvoisier Setup (Walt Disney, 1940). The Baby Pegasus from the Fantasia segment "Pastoral Symphony" makes a remarkable appearance in this lot, offering a terrific hand-painted Courvoisier production cel setup. Fantastic setups like these were created through the momentous collaboration between Walt Disney and Courvoisier Galleries, a partnership that was instrumental in introducing cels to the artistic world and developing animation art. Pausing Fantasia at the 1:32:19 timestamp will reveal this endearing image of the Baby Pegasus, stretching after the storm towards the end of the segment. Hand-painted and hand-inked, the character is featured measuring 3" x 1.25", professionally trimmed to image and displayed on a gorgeous Courvoisier background. This lot is offered on a glass-fronted 11.75" x 10.75" frame with a 5.75" x 4.75" mat opening. All frames are sold as-is. Photos are not representative of actual frame condition.
