    Description

Fantasia Centaurette and Cherubs Production Cel (Walt Disney, 1940). The lovely Centaurettes in the "Pastoral Symphony" segment of Fantasia were all styled after "Freddie's Girls" sketches by Disney animator Fred Moore (1911 - 1952). This is a original hand-inked, hand-painted production cel of a female Centaurette being attended to by cherubs that measures approximately 8" x 7.5". The nitrate cel has been carefully trimmed and applied to a 16 field acetate cel. The image is over a print background for presentation purposes. It's an extraordinary setup from one of Disney's most inspired classics. The piece is framed with Plexiglas, with a mat opening of 10" x 14" in a frame measuring 18.5" x 22.5". The trimmed cels have separated from the acetate in places and there has been minor restoration. Condition is Very Good. Frame is sold as-is.
