    Description

Fantasia Ave Maria Production Cel Courvoisier Setup (Walt Disney, 1940). Original hand-inked, hand-painted Courvoisier production cel of the torch-bearing Pilgrims, from the film's calming finale, "Ave Maria." This is a very unusual framing setup. Someone has taken the cel off the background and placed it in a shadow box type frame with a spacer between the background. The cel is an inch off the beautiful hand-painted Courvoisier background. Some glue stains on the background from where the cel had been attached, but the 3-D setup makes them hard to see. Matted with an opening size of 13" x 9" and framed with glass for an overall size of 14" x 10.5" x 1.75". The back of the frame has an opening that showcases the original "Copyright Walt Disney Productions" stamp. Very Good condition.
