Description
Eyvind Earle (attributed) Sleeping Beauty Fauna, Flora, and Merryweather Production Cel with Master Pan Production Background Setup (Walt Disney, 1959). Two hand-inked, hand-painted production cels of Fauna, Flora, and Merryweather sitting over a Master, hand-painted pan production background of the throne room in the castle interior, in this magnificent piece. The King and Queen's throne chairs are in the middle, with tapestries and table settings on each side of the thrones. Attributed to the hand of Eyvind Earle (1916-2000), this simply unbelievable masterpiece of a painting measures 55" x 12". This background can be seen at about the 11:11 mark in to the film, as the fairies sit for a cup of tea. The Fairies on this background are all nice images of 4" to 9". It is a long pan cel and is on camera for some time. This is one of the most striking and detailed backgrounds in this film. Framed with a mat opening of 54" x 12". In Fine condition.Auction Info
