Description
Elmer Fudd Kool-Aid Television Commercial Production Cel with Painted Production Background and Animation Drawing (Warner Brothers/Cascade Studios, c. 1960s). "Stop, you wed-handed cwook!" After leaving MGM Studios, animation legend Tex Avery joined Cascade Studios, where directed this Kool-Aid spot featuring Elmer Fudd as a Canadian Mountie. An earlier version of Elmer was featured as a Mountie in the 1942 short Fresh Hare. Here's our red-suited hero, ready to prevent some bad person from absconding with the flavorful drink mix, in an original hand-inked, hand-painted 12 field production cel. Elmer's overall image size is approximately 4.75" x 3.75". The cel is placed on an original hand-painted production background from an unnamed film. Also included is the matching production animation drawing, in graphite with red pencil. The cel setup is matted with an opening of 9.5" x 7.5", with an overall mat size of 14" x 11". The drawing is in Good condition with some paint transfer/toning from storage; the cel and background setup is in Very Good condition with some minor handling wear.Auction Info
