Dumbo Jim Crow Production Cel and Courvoisier Background (Walt Disney, 1941). The wisecracking crows are singing "When I See an Elephant Fly" in this funny scene from Disney's cherished animated feature. While the ink and paint have held up well over the years, someone early on decided to laminate the cel art, which has resulted in the plastic buckling somewhat. This has the unusual effect of giving the three crows a somewhat "3-D" appearance. The cel image area is approximately 8.5" x 4.5", and the Courvoisier background measures approximately 12" x 9.5". There is a bit of rust-colored staining on the background, from the cels; it is mostly hidden when the cel art is in place. Overall condition is Good. The original Courvoisier label is included.
