DuckTales Scrooge McDuck Production Cel (Walt Disney, c. 1987). Rich old miser Scrooge McDuck counts his coins until his eyes can't stay open in this original hand-painted production cel from DuckTales. Premiering in 1987 (and returning in 2017 with a reboot), the animated series featured the adventures of Scrooge and his great-nephews Huey, Dewey, and Louie, inspired by the classic comic book stories written by the legendary Carl Barks. Outfitted in his classic red and blue suit, Scrooge measures approximately 6.25" x 4"; three stacks of coins are also painted on cel, and the cel includes a silver Walt Disney Company seal in the lower left. The scene-matched background is a print, added for presentation purposes. The cel is matted with an opening of 10" x 8" and framed with Plexiglas for an overall size of 17.5" x 15.5". All frames are sold as-is. Photos are not representative of actual frame condition. The cel is in Very Good to Fine condition with light handling.
