DuckTales Scrooge McDuck Production Cel (Walt Disney, c. 1987). What's this? In this original hand-painted production cel, Scrooge McDuck, the wealthy miser, hands over a wad of cash... and without even an angry look on his face! Scrooge must be buying something special (and at a bargain price, of course) or else something is seriously wrong in Duckburg! DuckTales premiered in 1987 (and returned in 2017 with a reboot), as an animated television series featuring the adventures of Uncle Scrooge and his great-nephews Huey, Dewey, and Louie. The series was inspired by the classic comic book stories written and drawn by the legendary Carl Barks. Scrooge and the cash have an approximate image size of 5" x 6"; the cel includes a silver Walt Disney Company seal in the lower right. The background is a print, added for presentation purposes. The cel is matted with an opening of 9.75" x 7" and is framed using Plexiglas for an overall size of 17.75" x 15". A Disney Certificate of Authenticity is on the back side. All frames are sold as-is. Photos are not representative of actual frame condition. The cel is in Very Good condition with minor handling wear.
