DuckTales Magica De Spell Production Cels and Color Model Cel Group of 3 (Disney, 1986). The maven of Disney duck mischief, Magica De Spell, is the subject of these three hand-painted cels from Disney studio's first daily animated series for television, DuckTales. The two production cels are magnificent. One is a close-up portrait of her from the shoulders up measuring nearly 6" tall. The cel is matted and framed with a mat opening of 9" x 12", in a 13" x 16" frame. The other production cel has Magica in full figure, standing 4" tall. This cel is over a print background for presentation purposes. It too is matted and framed with a mat opening of 8" x 9.5", in a 14" x 18" frame. The third piece in this lot is a color model cel of Magica in perfect full figure, standing 5.5" tall with her name and DuckTales logo printed above her. It is in an 11.5 x 14.5" frame. Condition is Fine. These are from the estate of The First Lady of Animation, June Foray (1917 - 2017) who provided the voice of Magica. Condition on all three is Fine. From the June Foray Collection.

I have done a preliminary analysis and the total of the hammer prices was $67,550. With BP, the final figure was $80,722.25. That is against the total insurance value of $34,785 or 2.32 x ‘pre-auction estimate’. Incredible, really, so a big thanks.
