    Description

Duck Dodgers and the Return to the 24 1/2 Century Gossamer Production Cel Setup (Warner Brothers, 1980). "My, I bet you monsters lead such interesting lives!" says Bugs Bunny as he does Gossamer's nails in an early appearance. Gossamer was created by Chuck Jones and came to the screen the first time in 1946 for the short Hare Raising Hare. This is a rare Color Model cel of Gossamer painted for Ink and Paint Reference for the making of the Chuck Jones short Duck Dodger and the Return to the 24 ½ Century. Gossamer has a cameo in this cartoon, and we learn that he is completely composed of hair! Great 7" image with sneakers and all. The cel is on a hand-painted custom background made for presentation purposes. Any cel of Gossamer is hard to find! This is one great pose. Matted and framed and in Fine condition.
