Description
Dragon's Lair Title Cel Setup with Key Master Background (Ruby-Spears, 1983). After the success of the 1983 Don Bluth produced Dragon's Lair video game, an animated TV show based on the hit game was quickly introduced. It starred Dirk The Daring, Princess Daphne, and Dirk's young squire Timothy. This short-lived series lasted one season, with only 13 episodes ever made. This is a rare 12 field hand-painted title cel setup for "Mist of Wishes," the 13th and final episode which aired in December of 1984. It's a fantastic image that measures 6" x 8" and features three of the Key characters along with the show's logo, episode title and writer's credits. The 3-cel setup is over a hand-painted Key Master background. One of the only title cels we have ever seen from this rare series.
