Description
Dragon Ball Z: The Tree of Might/"Rock the Dragon" Opening Goku Production Cel (Toei Animation, 1990). Presented in this lot is a remarkable hand-painted production cel of Goku from Dragon Ball Z: The Tree of Might, remembered by many for its appearance during the famous "Rock the Dragon" opening theme. This terrific picture of Goku shows up at the 34:44 mark of the film, as Goku rushes to rescue Gohan from the hands of Turles, and at the 0:14 mark of the memorable intro, has Goku with a stunning brush effect on his leg measuring a figure size of 4" x 4.5 on the 12-field production cel, numbered A15 in the top right corner. If this image brings back memories of catching Dragon Ball Z episodes in Toonami, this is a lot that you don't want to miss! The cel is featured on a printed background for presentation purposes. Some fading and signs of restoration can be seen on the linework. The cel shows minor paint wear. With light handling and edge wear from production, the lot is in Very Good condition.Auction Info
