Description
Dragon Ball Z: Super Android 13! Gohan and Android 13 Production Cel with Production Background and Animation Drawing (Toei Animation, 1992). The mighty Super Android 13 walks menacingly towards Gohan in this lot, offering a stunning hand-painted production cel and an animation drawing from the exciting movie Dragon Ball Z: Super Android 13! The action-packed film, directed by Daisuke Nishio and written by Takao Koyama, featured a group of powerful new androids seeking revenge on Goku. Featuring a great size comparison between the towering android and Gohan, this production cel shows an overall image size of 4.25" x 9.25" on the 11" x 10.5" cel, numbered A35 in the top right corner and presented on a fantastic production background of an icy, desolate area, rendered in gouache on 10.25" x 13" background board. The lot comes with the matching animation drawing of the two characters, rendered in graphite with colored pencil details and shading. The cel shows some fading on the linework and signs of restored lines. Some surface scuffing can be seen on the background, and the animation drawing has the peghole area taped in, showing toning on the tape.
