Description
Dragon Ball Z: Broly - The Legendary Super Saiyan Production Cel with Custom-Painted Background and Animation Drawing (Toei Animation, 1993). Broly prepares to attack in this lot that offers a hand-painted production cel and matching animation drawing from Dragon Ball Z: Broly - The Legendary Super Saiyan. This film saw the first appearance of the fan-favorite antagonist created by Akira Toriyama (1955 - 2024) and Takao Koyama, recently featured in the movie Dragon Ball Super: Broly. Pausing this film at approximately the 1:04:15 mark will reveal the impressive image of Broly showcased in the 12-field production cel, featuring the character with an image size of 8.25" x 7.75". The cel is offered on a custom-painted background done in gouache on board trimmed to the size of the cel, taped to it with archival artist tape. The matching animation drawing is rendered in graphite with colored pencils on 12-field animation paper, numbered A-4 in the top right corner. Light fading can be seen on the cel's linework. The animation drawing shows minor crumpling on the top edge. In Very Good condition with overall mild handling and edge wear from production.Auction Info
