Dragon Ball Goku Riding Flying Nimbus Production Cel and Animation Drawing (Toei Animation, c. 1986-89). From Dragon Ball, the groundbreaking anime series that would evolve into an everlasting world-renowned franchise, presented is an original production cel featuring none other than Goku riding his gravity defying Nimbus cloud. Originally debuting on February 26 of 1986, Dragon Ball ran for 153 episodes, following Goku and his friends' quest for the seven Dragon Balls. The manga created by Akira Toriyama saw great success with audiences and was quickly adapted into this highly influential anime series. This phenomenal full-figured image features the young hero dressed in his orange Turtle School Uniform that he receives from Master Roshi in episode 19, atop his iconic golden Nimbus with a hand-painted image area of 7.25" x 5.75" on the 12 field cel. The cel is accompanied by its matching animation drawing rendered in graphite and colored pencil on 12 field animation paper. A couple spots of adhesion between the cel and drawing. Minor handling and edge wear, and the lot is in overall Very Good condition.
