    Description

Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas Production Cel and Animation Drawing Group of 2 (MGM, 1966) This is an extremely rare combination of an original production cel along with an original production drawing from the same scene in this celebrated holiday classic. The original hand-painted pan production cel of the Grinch bears a Linda Jones seal and a Chuck Jones Estate plate signature. Hand-painted presentation cels of Max and the sleigh have been recreated to complete the image and all are over a printed background for presentation purposes. Included as a bonus is an original 12 field animation drawing of the Grinch that matches the production cel. It has a recreated Xerox line cel overlay of Max and the sled. A Linda Jones seal and Chuck Jones Estate plate signature are on the drawing. Both items in this lot include Linda Jones Letters of Authenticity. There's only one How the Grinch Stole Christmas TV special and these are two very rare production pieces from it. All are in Fine condition.
