Description

Dr. Seuss' How The Grinch Stole Christmas Grinch with Christmas Tree Production Cel Setup (MGM, 1966). "It was a quarter of dawn. All the Whos still in bed, all the Whos still a-snooze." The last thing the Grinch takes before heading home is the Who's town center Christmas tree. This is a rare hand-painted 2-cel setup of the Grinch, in his Santa suit and with one red eye showing, as he prepares to fold up the tree like an umbrella. The tree and Grinch have an overall image area of 5.5" x 6.25"; Grinch is 3" from raised hand to foot. A Linda Jones seal is on the top cel, which is noted as 10 in the lower right corner. A Linda Jones COA is included. Very Good condition with minor handling wear.
