    Description

Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas Grinch Production Cel (MGM 1966). "So, he took his dog Max, and he took some dark thread, and he tied a big horn on the top of his head!" Here's a magnificent hand-painted production cel of the Grinch in his Santa Costume and he's just about to transform his little dog Max into a reindeer. It's an incredible image that measures 8" on a 12 field production cel over a printed background. You can see this image around the 9:33 mark into the special. The cel is signed by this special's director, animation legend Mr. Chuck Jones (1912 - 2002); it bears a Linda Jones seal and includes a Certificate of Authenticity. Production cels of the Grinch this good are few and far between! Very Good condition. From the Chuck Jones Archives.
