DOW Bathroom Cleaner Captain Bubble Production Cel (Dow Chemicals, c. 1984). "Grime doesn't pay!" Captain Bubble commands his army of Scrubbing Bubbles as they fight the "War on Grime" in a dirty bathtub! The iconic Scrubbing Bubbles were designed and animated by longtime Walt Disney Studios staffer Tissa David for the Phil Kimmelman and Associates advertising agency. This nostalgic setup is composed of multiple hand-painted, partially hand-inked cels setup atop a color print background. The setup is framed with Plexiglas and matted, with a matboard aperture of 11.5" x 9". The condition of this setup is Good, with handling, some line wear and fading, and some debris.
