Description
Doug "Doug Can't Dance" Doug Production Cel (Nickelodeon, 1991). If you know that Doug is not dressed as a sack of dirty socks or Godzilla, this is a lot for you! Dressed as a slug, Doug swings on a tire as he contemplates if he should go to the dance party at his school after being reminded by Roger that he can't dance. From the Doug pilot episode "Doug Can't Dance" we have in this lot a magnificent hand-painted production cel, showcasing our protagonist in his costume for the dance party measuring an image size of, as seen at the 3:51 mark. On August 11, 1991 this episode aired as one of the first Nicktoons along with Rugrats and The Ren & Stimpy Show. Doug swinging on a tire measures a great image size of 4.75" x 6.25" on the 12-field cel numbered D15 in the bottom right corner, presented on a printed background. The cel bears a Nickelodeon sticker in the bottom right corner and includes a COA. With minor handling wear from production, this great lot is in Very Good condition.Auction Info
