Description

Donald Duck Sequence of 7 Original Production Cel. (Walt Disney, c. 1980's). "Oh phooey!" This is a magnificent sequence of original 12 field production cels with Donald Duck in his classic sailor outfit as he jumps from a sitting position into battle-ready pose. His full name is Donald Fauntleroy Duck and he is the most famous anthropomorphic white duck whose family sprawls into other Disney characters such as Scrooge McDuck and Daisy Duck. Created by Dick Lundy (1907-1990) and Walt Disney (1901-1966) and making his first appearance in The Wise Little Hens in 1937, the temperamental duck has spanned all forms of entertainment across the decades from comics, cartoons, films, and video games. The hand-painted images range approximately from 2.75" x 3" - 3.5" x 4" as he changes from one dynamic pose to another. There is tape across the bottom of all production cels to hold them in sequence. The overall condition is Fine to Very Good with light handling wear and edge wear.
