    Description

Doctor Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas Production Cel Setup and Animation Drawing (MGM, 1966). "Ten thousand feet up... up the side of Mount Crumpet... he rode with his load to the tip top... TO DUMP IT!" Here's the Grinch in an original hand-painted production cel, wearing his Santa suit and standing atop his sleigh, which is overloaded with stolen Whoville presents. This is a 2 cel setup, with the massive bundle and Grinch measuring 8". What a great image! This lot also includes the matching 12 field animation drawing of the Grinch, with a Xerox print of the bundle cel placed over the drawing. Please Note: both the production cel and animation drawing have been hand-signed by Animation Legend Chuck Jones (1912 - 2002). A Linda Jones seal is on each piece, and both come with Linda Jones COAs. Fine condition. From the Chuck Jones Archives.
