Doctor Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas Max Signed Production Cel Group of 3 (MGM, 1966). "'All I need is a reindeer!' The Grinch looked around, but since reindeer were scarce, there were none to be found. Did that stop the Grinch? HA! The Grinch simply said, 'If I can't find a reindeer, I'll make one instead.' So he took his dog Max, and took some black thread, and tied a big horn on the top of his head!" This is an amazing lot of three original hand-painted 12 field production cels of Max as a Reindeer, going through his trials and tribulations with the Grinch. Facial expressions of Max and his horns on all three are priceless. Nice images of 3" - 5". Each cel is on a print background for presentation purposes, and each cel is hand-signed by the film's director, animation legend Chuck Jones (1912-2002). Each cel has a Linda Jones Seal and a COA for each cel is included. This may be the best pure Max lot ever offered! Fine condition. From the Chuck Jones Archives.
