    Doctor Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas Grinch and Max Production Cel (MGM, 1966). "This is spot number one!" An original hand-painted production cel of the Grinch about to climb up to the top of the chimney. Holding the ladder steady is faithful companion, Max the puppy. It's a large two-character image measuring 8". The cel is on a printed background for presentation purposes. The scene can be found around the 18:41 mark. Legendary animation director Chuck Jones (1912 - 2002) hand-signed the cel, which includes a Linda Jones seal and COA. Fine condition. From the Chuck Jones Archives.
